UPDATE 18th JANUARY
Apologies for no update yesterday. We were all too tired after another long day of flying. Food and sleep our priority.
Yesterday brought mixed fortunes. Derren had a good day in 15 Metre Class as did Steve and Mike in 18M. Russ and Andy had a relatively poor day and were well beaten by the German pair flying the EB29Rs (and quite a few pilots flying JS1 – 21) but still just about hold on to 1st and 2nd place overall in Open Class.
Today was scrubbed for all classes after a lengthy grid squat under a layer of overcast which refused to clear until late afternoon.
